There is something satisfying about taking a soft lump of earth and persuading it into becoming… something. Clay is an excellent keeper of fingerprints, energy, and ideas. In our handbuilding clay courses and workshops, you’ll learn the foundational tools: structure, surface texture, form and colourful glaze techniques—while having plenty of room to make the projects your own. Our classes are beginner friendly, but not beginner only: guided lessons give first-timers a solid foundation, while those with clay experience can build on what they already know, explore new techniques and take familiar skills somewhere unexpected. Our projects are intentionally a little different, offering opportunities to create pieces you won’t find for sale or being taught at every other studio in town. Come for the clay, stay for the creative detours, and make something of beauty, ritual, comfort, or curious intent.
