You look like you could use a little dude in your life! Make a pal to keep with you on your journey through life or gift; as a pocket-buddy, desk pet, reminder token, or whatever else you may need. Bring your best ideas and your patient instructor, Kenya, will be by your side every step of the way to help! Make a complex figure to glaze simply, or a simple figure to glaze with more detail to make the most of your workshop time. In this workshop you’ll learn: ~ Pinching forms and shapes ~ Creating a figure up to 3" tall or 3" wide ~ Sculpting small features to add personality to your figures Project Examples: - Small animals; birds, cats, dogs, etc. - Small tokens; acorns, berries, runes, etc. - Fantasy figures; Koroks, Forest Spirits, Soot Sprites, etc. - Anything you can imagine! After this workshop your piece will be bisque fired and then you can return to glaze the piece during one of our "Glazing 101" workshops on a separate day which is included in the cost of your class! It is a one-hour intro to glazing that will teach you how to glaze the piece you’ve made. Alternatively, you may choose a single color that we will glaze for you. After glazing, the piece will be fired in our kiln, and you can expect your piece to be ready for pickup 2-3 weeks after you have glazed.
