Diversity in Level 1 Collections

If you've ever felt "held back" by single workshops, have you considered taking our Level 1 Hand Building course? Every single student leaves the studio with a completely unique set of pieces! Since the course is technique-based rather than project-based, you can go CRAZY with creativity and customization.

These photos show some of the collections from our last instance of our Level 1 course. You can even spot the different techniques that were used throughout their lessons. Can you tell what was made with the pinch, slab, or coil technique? Well, take Level 1 and you'll be able to spot each method of construction from a mile away!

Keep in mind that some of our students' pieces had already been glaze fired and taken home when this batch of photos was taken so these groupings of pieces are a few short of what you can actually create! Use your imagination to picture the "unseen" work that match these pieces like a glove!

If you are ever wondering if an idea in your "mind palace" is suitable to create in this course, please reach out! We're always happy to work with our students to help them create the pieces that excite them. Some pieces that you are gunning to create may be more suited to Level 2: MORE Hand Building, which you can take after Level 1. We promise to support you every step of the way, with patience and little eccentric nudges to keep challenging you to develop your skills further than you ever imagined!
